01 / PLAN
Start with the result and the source
Define one audience problem and one demonstrated result. Each shot should answer a viewer question or prove a claim rather than repeat what the narration already says.
Make the main editorial decision before adding polish. A clear message, stable timeline, and intentional aspect ratio make captions, music, graphics, and export settings easier to judge.
02 / WORKFLOW
Complete the workflow step by step
- Prepare.
Write the audience, problem, demonstrated result, and CTA at the top of the storyboard.
- Set up.
Plan five beats: hook, context, key action, visible proof, and next step.
- Create.
List the exact shot, on-screen text, and narration needed for every beat.
- Review.
Collect media, assemble the sequence in PeteCut, and remove any beat that does not strengthen the result.
03 / QUALITY CHECK
Review the result before the next step
Watch the full export outside the editor. Review it once with sound and once muted, then check text placement and framing at the size of the intended screen.
- The product appears early enough.
- Every claim has visible support.
- The main action is easy to follow.
- The CTA matches the demonstrated outcome.
04 / QUESTIONS
Common question
Do I need to draw a storyboard?
No. A simple table listing scene, visual, narration, and duration is enough for many short creator workflows.
Can I update this workflow later?
Yes. Save the source and project details, then update the relevant settings, content, or output when the destination requirements change.
